FAQ: Epiq Access GoAnywhere Transition

1. What is Epiq Access?

Epiq Access* is part of our commitment to digital transformation, modernizing our client's interactions with Epiq and Epiq-hosted eDiscovery services and applications. It is our “all-in-one” client portal which provides a modern digital interface that can simplify your team’s day-to-day eDiscovery work by providing single sign-on (SSO) access to all Epiq hosted applications (including GoAnywhere). This single sign-on approach also makes it easier to manage end-user access to specific projects, improving the overall security of your environment. Epiq Access acts as the user interface for the Epiq Service Cloud*.

With Epiq Access you login once to access all of your applications – you no longer need to remember different passwords for multiple legal systems. Once signed on, team members can use Epiq Access to submit and track work requests for an easier, streamlined process, quicker turn-around time, and great visibility into your eDiscovery workflow. It is poised to become the singular portal into your Epiq portfolio and projects.

2. What is Epiq's GoAnywhere?

GoAnywhere is Epiq’s managed file transfer software used for sending and receiving files and data to our clients. The URLS used to access GoAnywhere are different depending on the region:

3. What are the benefits of using Epiq Access?

A single URL to remember for accessing Epiq

- Access to Support when you need help

4. If I am already using Epiq Access, do I need to do anything?

If you are already using Epiq Access, you don’t need to do anything! Congratulations and continue enjoying Epiq Access.

5. How much does Epiq Access cost?

Best part about Epiq Access is it is free for new and existing clients.

6. Where can I learn more about Epiq Access?

7. Can I start using Epiq Access right away?

Maybe. If you have already received your Welcome Email from Epiq Access, you can login right away! If you have not, you should receive your welcome email within a few days.

8. What are the steps for my account moving over to Epiq Access?

You receive a notification email from Epiq notifying you Epiq will be moving GoAnywhere managed file transfer URL to Epiq Access
If you don't already have access to Epiq Access within a few days you should receive a welcome email from Epiq Access requesting you to login and set your password from Epiq Access.
That is it! You no longer need to use the transfer.epiqglobal.com GoAnywhere managed file transfer URL.

9. Will I be notified about my account being changed to Epiq Access?

Yes! You will receive an email from Epiq Access welcoming you to the platform and asking you to login and set your password.

10. What should I do if I have not received my Epiq Access Welcome email.

Check your SPAM folder or email from noreply@epiqglobal.com

11. Why is Epiq moving GoAnywhere files transfer sites to Epiq Access?

To maximize the benefits to Epiq Clients, we are migrating the GoAnywhere managed file transfer sites so those clients can join the thousands of other clients already enjoying the benefits of Epiq Access part of the Epiq Service Cloud.

12. Will I still be able to log into GoAnywhere directly?

Shortly after all users have been migrated to Epiq Access, Epiq will be deprecating access to GoAnywhere through the legacy URL.

13. Will I need to reset my Password?

If you don’t have access to Epiq Access already as part of the conversion to Epiq Access, you will need to set a password for Epiq Access. This will now be your new password when accessing Relativity or any other application through Epiq Access.

14. What happens to my 2-factor authentication?

If you have existing MFA/2FA (Multi-Factor) in place our Epiq Global Services Support team will be working with you to help you set up your Epiq Access account and configure the 2FA. Our support team member will be in touch with you to help you with this transition.

15. What does my login look like when I change over to Epiq Access?

Just like you put username and password into GoAnywhere you will put username and password into Epiq Access instead.
If you use multiple Relativity instances you only need to login once to access all your GoAnywhere and Relativity instances.

16. Who do I contact if I have issues when logging into Epiq Access?

17. Will I still be able to login to my old GoAnywhere URL?

Yes and No. Initially, during the change period, you will be able to access GoAnywhere through https://access.epiqglobal.com and the legacy URL. Soon after converting to Epiq Access, we will remove access from the legacy URL.

18. Will I be able to utilize FileZilla or another SFTP clients to access Epiq transfer?

Yes! You can continue to use a SFTP client to access the site even after web browser access is removed and replaced with Epiq Access. You will need to contact support at support@epiqglobal.com USA: +1 800 794 4430 or +1 913 998 7073

19. What if I get this error “Your account is not configured to use this application”

20. What if I have multiple GoAnywhere URLs I use on a regular basis?

You still access those URLs from https://access.epiqglobal.com
Will I be able to login to my old Relativity URL instead of Epiq Access?
- You will be able to access GoAnywhere sites during our conversion to Epiq Access. After the conversion is complete, you will only be able to access your URLs from Epiq Access.

21. What should I do if I don’t see my GoAnywhere URL tile in Epiq Access?

22. Has Epiq done penetration testing on Epiq Access?

Yes! Epiq Access Penetration testing is done regularly in line with our security testing protocols.
If you would like to know more about Epiq Access security, please request this from your Client Services team.

23. Do I need to have my IT department update our whitelist?

Whitelist access.epiqglobal.com and signon.epiqglobal.com
