Alicia Burns-Wright is an Associate General Counsel on the Competition & Regulatory team at Facebook, where she works on competition matters that touch jurisdictions all over the globe. Prior to joining Facebook in last year, Alicia spent 3.5 years working at the Federal Trade Commission investigating mergers primarily in the industrial, chemical and technology industries. Alicia started her career in the Complex Commercial Litigation group in Vinson & Elkins’ DC office, spending five years largely serving oil and gas clients.
Ben Dryden is a Partner in the Antitrust practice group of Foley & Lardner LLP, based in Washington D.C. His practice focuses on antitrust issues arising from mergers and acquisitions, including preparing Hart-Scott-Rodino premerger notifications and representing clients in “second request” investigations before the Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission. He practice also includes day-to-day and event-driven antitrust compliance counseling, as well as civil antitrust litigation.
In his role as Associate Director, Antitrust, Jason Butler has direct oversight of all document review related to antitrust work in North America. Jason and his team of review managers are responsible for assisting law firms and corporate clients plan and implement efficient and effective e-Discovery practices for their antitrust matters. Jason specializes in project management, workflow implementation, file analysis, quality control, and privilege log creation. Operating out of Epiq’s Washington, D.C., office, Jason has managed numerous high-profile and complex second requests and international competition investigations. Jason was recognized as Epiq’s Review Manager of the Year for 2018.
Ed Burke is a recognized expert in the field of electronic discovery. At Epiq, Ed works closely with the company’s corporate and law firm clients to create and oversee high quality, cost-efficient and defensible solutions during the discovery phase of litigation, including the strategic deployment of analytic tools throughout the review process. Ed has been a leader in the company’s document review services group and has overseen review projects for over 100 large and complex matters in the following areas: antitrust, healthcare, insurance, financial services/banking, intellectual property, and products liability. Ed presently is a leader of the company’s Antitrust Working Group and heads up Epiq’s Advanced Attorney Services offering.
